This is your chance to talk to the teens about internet safety!

WHAT: Great American Teach-In

WHEN: November 21, 2024

Choose a morning or afternoon shift, or the whole day.  

WHERE:  A Hillsborough County Middle School of your choice

NOTE: There are 2 additional important commitments to prepare for the Great American Teach-in:

1) Interest Meeting - ZOOM CALL - SEPTEMBER 9th 7:30 pm

2) MandatoryTraining  - ZOOM CALL - NOVEMBER 4th  7:30pm

The Great American Teach In is when community members are allowed to go into the schools and talk about their jobs, or a subject area that interests them.  This is a perfect opportunity to reach hundreds, hopefully thousands of middle school kids, to talk to them about internet safety as a representative of Stop The Movement.

WE TRAIN YOU!  We'll provide your slide presentation and assist you in signing up to the school of your choice.  There are some very important do's and don'ts you need to know when approaching what many people feel is a sensitive subject.  Therefore, the training call on November 4th is extremely important.

The kids are wonderful, and it's a fantastic experience!  You will be so glad you took the day off work to partcipate in this!
