Come join us for a fun and educational event at Childs Park YMCA! This class is designed to teach kids/tweens/teens valuable skils in self-defense and internet safety, in an age-appropriate way.
First, our experienced instructors will guide the children through self-defense skills and drills, giving them confidence, situational awareness and strategies if they ever need to use them.
Next, we will discuss internet safety. Topics covered will vary by age-group, but will include gaming, private messaging, social media smarts and how to identify and report an online stranger who tries to contact you.
