About the event
Join us for our unique Christmas Street Outreach. We will have special Christmas items in our regular blessing bags. Let's show the vulnerable men and women on the streets, in the shelters and children in temporary motel housing that they are special and somebody cares about them!
New to Street Outreach? What to expect:
We will be hitting the streets, parks and motels in the Lealman-St.Pete area where there is a significant population of homeless and vulnerable people. Blessing bags will be distributed, which are a great invitation to start a conversation and determine if there are any resources we can offer - referrals to shelters, safe houses, detox facilities, etc. or just share hope and prayers.
Strict adherance to safety protocols will be followed. We divide into groups of 4-5, led by experienced team members. Newcomers will be educated and trained first in a more observational, less hands-on approach.…
