About the event
Join us as we distribute blessing bags, screen for trafficked women and help vulnerable people in the shelters and on the streets.
New to Street Outreach? What to expect:
We will be hitting the streets, parks and motels in the Lealman-St.Pete area where there is a significant population of homeless and vulnerable people. Blessing bags will be distributed, which are a great invitation to start a conversation and determine if there are any resources we can offer - referrals to shelters, safe houses, detox facilities, etc. or just share hope and prayers.
Strict adherance to safety protocols will be followed. We divide into groups of 4-5, led by experienced team members. Newcomers will be educated and trained first in a more observational, less hands-on approach. Mature children ages 12-up will be allowed to attend with their parents.
Please wear athletic shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather. Women must wear…
