Street Outreach - May 9

Join us as we distribute blessing bags, screen for trafficked women and help vulnerable people in the shelters and on the streets.

We will be hitting the streets, parks and shelters in the Lealman-St.Pete area where there is a significant population of homeless and vulnerable people.  Blessing bags will be distributed, which are a great invitation to start a conversation and determine if there are any resources we can offer - referrals to shelters, safe houses, detox facilities, etc. or just share hope and prayers.

The day starts when we meet at Lealman Neighborhood Park, where we receive a briefing and divide into carpools and groups of 4-5.  Each team is led by an experienced Stop the Movement Outreach Team member.  Mature children ages 13-up will be allowed to attend with their parents.  We spend approximately 60-90 minutes distributing blessing bags and spending quality time with those we meet.  This is not…
