Our mission is to educate, empower and equip the Tampa Bay Area to prevent human trafficking, abuse and youth online exploitation. In-person or virtual group training, self defense classes, street outreach, student internet safety presentations and participating in major public awareness events are just a few ways we are involved in Tampa Bay.

Human Trafficking 101 Training
Host a seminar at your workplace, church, conference or club to further educate your group about how human trafficking and exploitation affects us and our children. This seminar is geared for an adult audience, and can be conducted either IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY.

Youth Online Safety & Healthy Relationships Training

School Training
Stop The Movement works with your school to deliver the training that suits your needs and available time. We will train staff, students K-12 and parents, all in a relevant and age-appropriate manner. The average age of a trafficked or exploited victim is twelve, so it is mandatory that this conversation happens early and often!

Church Training
Churches are uniquely positioned to lead the way in the fight against abuse, exploitation and trafficking. Equip your staff, volunteers and members with the knowledge they need to recognize the signs, respond in a trauma-informed way and refer to resources. Protect families and youth by starting important conversations in a "no-shame" zone of love and safety.

Outreach Services
STREET OUTREACH - No experience needed. "Boots on the Ground" ministry where we share hope, dignity and encouragement with individuals at/near a St. Pete homeless shelter. We initiate conversations by handing out "blessing bags" filled with food, water, cosmetics, toiletries. and other seasonal needs.
​
JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER - Experienced volunteers and survivor speakers needed. Here, we encourage the girls with stories of resiliency, discuss relationship"red flags," have valuable 1-on-1 conversations and pamper them with sweet treats and small gifts.

Self Defense Classes
We believe that empowerment, confidence and situational awareness are important steps towards prevention and intervention! Partnering with top-notch self-defense instructors, we offer private classes for kids, teens and women. In addition to self-defense strategies and techniques, the kids classes also feature a talk on digital threats and body safety rules. The women's classes discuss dating safety and relationship boundaries.
